Most everyone we know wants nice looking straight and white teeth. But getting those teeth and jaws to move into alignment isn't always the most pleasant experience (sore teeth, canker sores, remember?). Although we know that, we sure don't want our patients to dread coming to our office. We want their monthly visits to be something they will look forward to. So, here are a couple of things that we are doing to liven up the place a little.
1. Dr. Rob is really into music. He enjoys everything to do with music (listening, playing, singing), except weird forms of dancing. So when he had the option of subscribing to a radio station or uploading music to an iPod for his ortho practice, he decided to go with the iPod. And it's not just so he can play his favorite tunes all day (he realizes that most of his patients aren't into classic rock as much as he is). He decided that as he found out each patient's favorite song, he would add those songs to the office playlist.
Really, this is what he said about it, "I want to have cool music playing in my office that my patients enjoy listening to." And what he's collected so far is just that...cool.
2. In-office contests. All of our patients can participate in our frequent contests. Our current contest has to do with the lovely holiday, Valentine's Day.
